Sarah is Head of Events at the Association of Event Organisers, responsible for the organisation,
delivery and commercial success of the association’s events.
Previously employed by Manchester City FC, as the Club’s ambitions and success grew, she worked in event management across the marketing, PR, press office, community and hospitality teams, latterly forming the Protocol department, which ensured the highest standards of event hospitality to the Club’s VIP guests and board members at matches, Wembley cup finals, international tours and special events.
Sarah’s career started at Sainsburys as part of a pan-European logistics supply team; she then moved to Ericsson, dividing her time between their London and Stockholm HQs, organising and shaping executive development events and product launches.
