Sofia Altuna
Global Product Partnerships
Sofia Altuna works on Global Product Partnerships for the Google Assistant. Her focus is on launching new platform capabilities, helping developers with discovery and reengagement, and delivering great user experiences globally. Sofia is passionate about empowering people’s lives through innovation and technology by making it more accessible and easy to adopt for everyone. She has been responsible for the partnerships go-to-market strategy for multiple Google Assistant features, and is most currently working on Google Assistant on Mobile initiatives to provide a faster way for users to access and navigate their Android apps.
Sofia is from Caracas, Venezuela, and currently resides in New York City. She graduated from Boston College with degrees in Finance and Leadership & Management. She's spoken at many industry events including Google I/O, Money 20/20, Virtualization Summit, and has a monthly YouTube series - VOICE Talks - about all things in the voice tech space. Outside of Google, she's served as a critter for the Cornell Tech MBA Crit program, and is participating as a "Voicefluener" mentor in The Voice Den (a “Shark Tank" like virtual series).
