Andrew Carney is co-founder of Smartxpo and founder of Futra.

Andrew started his career as a strategy consultant advising some of the world’s largest event and media companies on corporate strategy, M&A and pricing. He then co-founded Smartxpo, which has grown to be the leading data and analytics provider to the events industry. He pioneered Smartxpo’s revolutionary software module that aligns event pricing to customer value.

More recently, he launched Futra, a non-profit which is aiming to build a better future for the events industry through running research into topics such as the future of the events industry and diversity.

He is a graduate of Oxford University.
