International Trade Information
US and International expert who effectively bridges the gap between cultures in the face-to-face, virtual, and business-to-business world. A well known exhibition and event industry speaker and trainer, I've been fortunate to speak with groups in person and via webinars all over the US, Canada, China, Europe, Mexico and Latin America. It's fun!
International Trade Information, Inc. is a boutique consulting company that internationalizes US exhibitions by recruiting and retaining global participants, or taking shows abroad. We advise and train clients to successfully engage international clients, online (digitally) and in person. This involves, in part, identifying and forging relationships with similar foreign expos, industry associations, media and government entities.
We help build global communities.
The company is also the US sales agent for the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC), the largest privately held venue in China.
ITI has produced, sold and consulted to the international community in many countries as well as a fair number of US companies and associations. Floor and exhibit management is something I also enjoy doing.
With a passion for, and vast training experience, I offer custom international 101 and sales training for US organizers. Additional offerings include exhibitor training for US shows (international or domestic!).
Blogger for UFI - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and Exhibition World (a Mash Media publication). Am a co-founder and moderator for #Expochat, the weekly tweetchat for the expo industry. Spent four years as the Community Engagement Ringleader for SISO, and formerly blogged for Trade Show Executive Magazine, International Meetings Review and Expo Magazine.
